Deputation Trip & Covid-19
Greetings from California! Kevin and I arrived in California on November two. We are here for 2 months. We will have the opportunity to share our stories with churches, partners, family and friends and have some vacation time. After this crazy year it is just so good to see our family. We are planning to see the kids and travel to Arkansas to see family there. God is blessing us with this precious time. Although we are having some time with family and friends, it seems that in-person meetings will be limited this year. As we share our stories we want you to know that without your prayer and financial support we could not go and serve.
Pastor Racquel has again helped us put together a video. She is a magic maker! We have tried to get 2020 into a 5 minute video. There are so many holes in it, I cried as we were deciding what to put in and what to let go. Check out the video below!
Recent Typhoon News
Also we would like to raise awareness of the 3 typhoons that have swept through Luzon Philippines in the past month. There is chaos all over and flooding and some areas have 80% of their housing destroyed. NCM Philippines is heading up disaster relief in several districts. You would be so proud of our church. The flooding is continuing and the work goes on ahead of us. Please pray for our churches and the discouragement that comes from a volcano eruption, earthquakes, a pandemic and then horrible storms. It’s been a heck of a year. But the people are resilient and God is at work. Please pray!
- Pray that people would not live in fear but would find peace in God alone.
- Pray for resources to help the church reach out in their communities.
- Pray that God would control Covid, as there were unexpected exposures in evacuation centers and just about everywhere.
