The Journey Begins!
We are so excited to share our journey with you! It was less than 1 month ago that Pastor Mike prayed for us and presented us to the church. I can hardly believe it! Kevin and Janet Wilkins… missionaries.
We have printed up some prayer cards and we actually spoke at our Los Angeles District Missions Conference. (I know this must surprise and amaze those of you who know us!) God is so faithful to equip us for what is needed!
We have been in the process of this decision for about 3 years. To read more about this call click here.
So, beginning in January 2018, we will move to Manila Philippines to begin serving as the Work & Witness Coordinators for the Philippine/Micronesia Field and the Asia Pacific Nazarene 
Theological Seminary. We are super excited!
So in the next 5 months we will sell our vehicles, clear out our home and rent it, make sure our kids are settled and ready for us to go, and raise the support needed to provide for our needs while we are overseas. We will quit our jobs and learn to trust that God will support us.
We have created this Blog Page for you all so that as we learn and grow and walk each step of the journey you can be right there with us! As we complete each project, you will see it, and know a bit about the team that has come to do the Work. Kevin and I are so blessed to have the support of friends, family and church. We have heard God calling us to go use our gifts overseas and you all have said “Go, we support you!”.
What do we need from you? Please pray for us! Pray for our families, for our children, for all the details we need to wisely make decisions on and get accomplished, and for all the logistics, and that God would lead us and guide us. If you would like to support us financially, we will be looking for one time gifts and monthly gifts. We cannot think of a more passionate couple, a better qualified couple to serve in the capacity God has call them to serve in at the Seminary in the Philippines. Kevin and Janet both exude hearts of service to others, and they are being obedient in following God’s call through the church of the Nazarene, to provide their service and expertise to keep the Seminary functioning. At the same time, we are so thankful for how they want to help grow others in their knowledge of the Savior. May the Lord continue to bless you, Kevin and Janet, for your obedience to “the call”, leaving work, friends and family to go to a foreign land to spread the gospel…one project at a time!
